Nokia with Near Field Communication

    If this device is capable of reading and reproducing RFID tags, it strikes me as being a somewhat dangerous tool for businesses that rely heavily on RFID nametags to limit access to their premeses.     [...] Ganz klar ist das neu emergierende bürgerliche Bild der Großfamilie hierauf per se keine Antwort, aber es wre schon spannend, im kleinen wie im großen, neue Formen sozialer Kommuniaktion zu finden, die die aus der Fraktalisierung von Gesellschaft emergierenden Nachteile auffängt und managt. Man sollte gezielt an postindustriellen modernen Kommunikationsmodellen arbeiten, die eine sich auflösende Arbeitswelt, zersetzenden sozialen Zusammenhalt und eine zunehmende Egozentrierung von Lebensplanungen rekonfiguriert und – jenseits überkommender Traditionsmodelle – neu auflädt. Spontane, via SMS und Web organisierte, Demonstrationen punktuellen sozialen Zusammenhalts, zeigen ja, daß die Möglichkeiten denkbar sind. Foren, Blogs, Chats, IM-Systeme, OpenBC und so weiter sind weitere Ebenen, auf der eine neue gänzlich ort/zeit-freie Sozialstrukturen blühen und – vor allem in Foren – auch aktive Nächstenhilfe stattfindet, wenn auch eher immaterialer Natur (im Sinne von Ideenaustausch/Ratgebung). Was hier aber mobil – in everyday life – mit RFID und WiFi machbar wäre, ahhhh… kaum auszudenken. Wir müssen sehen, daß wir virtuelle neue Marktplätze schaffen, neue Meeting Points, neue (wahrscheinlich elektronisch basierte) Kommunikationsformen, die alltagstauglich sind und – eben anders als Foren – in ganz konkrete praktische und ortsnahe Nächstenhilfe münden. Ich sitte deine Babies, du sittest meine. Ich repariere deinen Wagen, du baust meine Küche auf. Der so lang von den Soziologen angekündigte dritte Weg könnte mit Wirelaess Lan und RFID-ID-Chips Realität werden, eine Art permanentes lokales eBaying ist greifbar. Suche… Biete. [...]
